How soon should I begin my search for a college?

Schedule a meeting with your school counselor in your sophomore year. Study for your college entry exams, which can include the PSAT, the SAT and/or the ACT tests. Information about those tests is available at your high school. Talk to your caseworker about the fees associated with these tests.
