What's the difference between a two-year college and a four-year college?

A two-year college usually offers associate’s degrees and a four-year college offers bachelor’s degrees. You can go to a two-year college, sometimes called a junior or community college, complete its program and then transfer to a four-year school where you can obtain a bachelor’s degree. Universities are usually four-year schools that also offer advanced degrees – master’s degrees and doctoral degrees.
